Our name
Customer first is the standard, not the slogan.
We chose our name because it describes how we want every shipment to feel from the shipper’s side: understood, planned and followed through. It is a promise we hold ourselves to on every load, whether it is a single pallet run or a piece of equipment that needs a permit.
Our office is in Oswego, Illinois, in Kendall County southwest of Chicago. Our broker authority allows us to arrange interstate truckload shipments between points in the continental United States.
What we do
A freight broker, not a trucking company
Customer First Brokerage is a licensed property broker. We do not own trucks or employ drivers. Instead, we arrange the transportation of your freight with authorized motor carriers that have the equipment your shipment requires.
That distinction matters. A broker's job is to understand the shipment, identify the right equipment, arrange capacity with an authorized carrier and coordinate the details, so you have one point of contact instead of searching for a truck yourself.

Oversize and overweight freight is subject to state permits and restrictions. We coordinate those requirements with qualified carriers and specialized service providers rather than working around them.
